Syrian communities in UAE, Sudan and Iran expressed their pride in President Bashar al-Assad and his national stances, stating their enthusiasm to contribute in the referendum.

Syrian embassies in Abu Dhabi, al-Khartoum and Tehran announced their readiness for the referendum which will take place on the 27th of May and informed the Syrian immigrants of the dates and locations of referendum centers.

Chargé d'affaires of the Syrian Embassy in Abu Dhabi Najwa al-Rifaii stated that preparations for the referendum are complete, and that the Embassy in Abu Dhabi and the Consular in Dubai will open their doors to citizens from 8 AM next Sunday till 8PM local time.

Syria's Ambassador in Tehran Hamed Hassan announced the forming of a central referendum committee and opening of centers in the areas where Syrian students and expatriates gather, as well as the forming of subsidiary committees to supervise referendum in Tehran, Mashhad, Isfahan and Qom.

The Ambassador also stated that a plan was implemented for informing the Syrian community of the date of the referendum through the local media.
